Zach W. Giardine is a theatre production artist, designer, and communications professional whose work spans live performance, technical production, and large-scale event and conference planning. With a strong foundation in both creative and organizational leadership, he brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every project, whether behind the scenes of a theatrical production or coordinating high-profile industry events.
His passion for theatre began at a young age after attending a production of Peter Pan, a moment that sparked a lifelong interest in storytelling and performance. Over time, this interest evolved into a focus on theatre design, specifically stage management and lighting design. Zach has worked across a wide range of productions in high school, university, and festival settings, including National Theatre School DramaFest and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, developing a collaborative style that emphasizes atmosphere, symbolism, and strong visual storytelling.
Zach is currently studying Theatre Production and Design at York University, where he continues to expand his skills in production planning, design, and technical execution. Alongside his academic work, he develops original theatrical writing that explores themes of memory, responsibility, and social impact, often blending realistic and symbolic elements to create emotionally resonant work.
In parallel with his theatre career, Zach works professionally in communications and event management within the aggregate and construction industry. He supports major conferences, training programs, and milestone celebrations, contributing to branding, storytelling, and logistics.
